Google apps galore
Google, as we know, is far more than a search engine. To keep it short, make sure you know all these goodies:
Google Pack consist of these FREE apps: Google Chrome Browser, Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Spyware Doctor, Picasa, Adobe Reader, Skype, Google Earth, Google Toolbar, Norto Security Scan, Google Desktop, Google Photos Screensaver, Google Talk and RealPlayer (I don't like this last one).
Google Profile to make yourself visible on the Web and let your friends and clients locate you easily.
I highly recommend Google Desktop. Install it and check if you computer is not running slower in the next few days. If so, uninstall it. But remember to leave your computer turned on and idle for quite a few hours (at night) so GDS can index your hard drives. Otherwise, you will notice some apparently abnormal activity in your computer everytime you go to the bathroom. If you like this app, you should check this plug-ins: TweakGDS lets you move the humongous GDS index file to another drive. I suggest moving it to your secondary hard drive (i.e., "D:") from its default location (C:) so your PC will run faster, and Google Desktop Extreme. An article you should read is here.
